We were looking for something to eat that was close to our hotel. We stumbled upon the little family restaurant. The Von’s chicken caught our eyes. We went right after lunch. It was not crowded. The waitress was very understanding and informative about the menu. Everything we ordered was so good. The Von’s Chicken was my favorite!!! Definitely go by here if you get a chance. You won’t be disappointed!
The staff is very friendly and engaging. I love coming here for the food, but the atmosphere of the restaurant makes it feel like I am back in Korea. 10/10 would recommend the stew and the Korean Fried Chicken!
This place is very authentic. The food was amazing. There was a large party sitting next to us which made the whole experience even better. It was like we were at a Korean party. The portions were generous. There were 3 of us and we could have shared 2 plates. We came for dinner, ordered 3 plates and had tons of leftover food. Delicious! Visiting from Long Beach, California.
The chicken was amazing! Crunchy and flavorful. The chicken fried rice was also really good. And the service was great! Went there twice while on vacation and hopefully will be back soon.
This place was great. My girls on on the picky side and ate all of their food and wanted more. We had no left overs. Everything we tried was delicious! Fully recommend.
Mikawon had the best food I've had even after visiting 15 Korean restaurants! The Kimchi Soft Tofu Soup was 10/10 and the ambience and service was fantastic. Definitely don't miss this spot in Waikiki, it's a true gem.
If you want authentic korean food in Hawaii. This is the place to go. Service is good and food taste so good. The aunties are so nice too.
Went to check signs of BTS but the food and service here was great as well! I ordered the cold noodle and it was perfectly delicious for a hot summer lunch. Aunties there were super friendly once they saw me snooping around for BTS. The staff showed me where Jin/Jimin/jk left a drawing and even took picture for me. Will be back with family again to try more food in a few days! Oh btw did I mention the kimchi was yummy?
